Going Green!

Over the past couple of months, we have been hard at work setting up our Garden. Mike rototilled a big area in the back yard and built a fence to keep our furry friends out. We planted all sorts of yummy vegetables such as Tomatoes (grape, roma, branywine and cherry), Zucchini, Green Peppers, JalapeƱo Peppers, Cherry Peppers, Cucumbers, Green Beans, Snow Peas, Snap Peas, Parsley, Basil, Cilantro, and Mint.

All of the plants seem to be coming in great (it could be our whole made compost helping grow the tomato plants almost 5 feet tall already). We are looking forward to enjoying our tasty vegetables this summer but I will say what a lot of work it has been. Keeping the weeks out of the garden is a full time job. Every weekend we go out there and swear there are more weeds then before. Who knows maybe I will make homemade baby food with the vegetables.
