40% Done

16 Weeks down, 168 days to go!

Wow, putting it in numbers, 168 days seams like so long to go. I have now started my 16th week of pregnancy. I am still not noticiably pregnant and am still weaning my normal clothes. However, I am told in the next few weeks that will drastically change as the baby will double in size and weight in the next couple weeks. I will be sure to post some pictures of me once it no longer looks like I am carrying a "food" baby. Here are some updates:

Overall: I am feeling much better; however, I am still exhausted. I am in bed by 730pm most nights. However, I do get up fairly early which account for this. Thanks goodness Mike has been such a big help making dinners, cleaning and overall doing everything I dont have energy for. He is getting to be quite the good cook :)

Appearance: still cant tell I am pregnant but I have gained 2 pounds which is right on target!

Gravings: I like bubbly drinks such as sparking cidar and cranberry juice and peanut butter!

Dislikes: Bananas and Tomato sauce top my dislikes.

Baby: The size of an avocado and weighs about 3.5 ounces

Getting prepared: We have finished painting and doing the crown molding in the nursery. We have picked out the nursery bedding (light green, whites and creams with jungle animals). The carseat and stroller are purchased but thats it. Oh and we have one outfit already, an eagles onsie which was a gift from one of Mikes friends. Boy or Girl hopefully it likes our Philadelphia teams as much as we do :)

In a couple weeks we get to go to the Level II ultrasound which is the appointment at which you can see the babies sex. We are still planning not to find out as we want to be suprised. We are looking forward to seeing the baby again and if everything goes accordingly this will be the last time we see the little one before its arrival.

Glad you're feeling better. My favorite time being pregnant was 20-32 weeks. I looked cute, felt great, and wasn't huge.
