Weekend Work

With a new baby entering our lives, we have a feeling more guests will be visiting our home in the pending months. Which will be nice as not that many people have come to visit! We have a guestroom but also decided to get a futon for the office to have more room for people to stay.

New Futon (minus a futon cover)

We had to move the bookshelf into the guest room which proved to be an eye soar. Bookshelves full of books in the office makes sense, in the guest room not so much... So the solution
I bought some fun fabric and Velcro at Joannes and made a cover!

We also decided to remodel the guest bathroom. I am very excited about that as this is one of the two things in the house I did not like when we bought it. Who doesnt love yellow subway, yellow tub,, and yellow rusted sink all original to the house. We went to Lowes Friday night and picked out the tile and vanity. We didn't find a couter top we loved but will probably go hunting for this next weekend. We didnt purchase anything yet but are very excited to start the remodel.
