Baby Sex Mystery

Everyone is very anxious about the sex of the baby. People who ask us the sex and when we say we dont know its a suprise, they are shocked. We get "why wouldnt you want to find out?'. Mike and I both agreed from Day 1 we didnt want to know, we didn't have some big reason aside from we thought it would be a great surpise that we could look forward to and we didnt care one way or the other. If we really cared, we think we would have found out. There is a 50/50 chance on the sex. So many people try to guess from the Chinese Calender, old wives tales and gut feelings. Really all the vudu doesnt really work, since our babies sex is already determined. However, I thought I would research some wives tales for the blog and respond to them to see accordingy to them what Baby M will be.

1. Chinese Calendar - According to this = Boy
2. Morning sickness - Boy= if you dont experience morning sickness. I got sick approximetly 2 times but I blame actual sickness and those darn prenatal vitamins
3. Heart Rate = Boy if you babies heart rate is below 140. Now, our babies heart rate has been between 160-140; however, I have another appointment today and the babies heart rate (regardless of sex) always drops later in the pregnancy.
4. Carrying High/Low = according to friends I am carrying high which equals Girl
5. Dryness of Hands = if your hands are dry its a boy, my hands are certainly not dry, Girl
6. Dad to be weight gain = if the Daddy to be is gaining weight with me its a boy, Mike has lost weight so another Girl count
7. Numbers game = Your age at conception plus the number of the month you concieved, if its even its a boy (25+11=36) Boy
8. Sweets = If you are craving sweets its a girl, I am definitely craving sweets = Girl
9. Face complextion- If you break out blame it on the girl, my skin has been really good during pregnancy, Boy
10. Face full and and round = Check for this one! Girl
11. Babies Activity; If the baby is very active its a boy, Boy
12. The Mayan Tale = Moms age at conception plus the year of conception (25+2009 = 2,034). Even equals Girl
13. Urine Color = Dull equals Girl!
14. Sleeping - If you sleep on the left side its a boy, Boy!
15, My mother Vudu = Boy

According to these 15 wives tales, the babies sex will be = Boy!

We will have to wait and see. Regardless of who predicts correctly, we will be thrilled as long as the baby is healthy.
