With moving into the new house so soon to the 4th we didn't exactly have the most traditional 4th of July weekend. But we did manage to go see fireworks and have our families over for a barbecue.
On Friday night we went to United Sports Area in Downingtown (where Mike plays soccer) and they had a free fireworks show. We were really impressed but the length and quantity of fireworks. We will probably make is a ritual to go there every year as it is just under a mile from our house.

On Saturday in preparation for my parents arrival on Sunday and our first barbecue we decided we needed to mow the lawn. In the house agreement we got the 24HP riding lawn mower. Mike and I spent the good part of Saturday morning trying to figure out how to get it to work. After much frustration we called Mikes Dad (a mechanic) and he was nice enough to come over and take a look. After a couple gallons of gas and a battery jump the lawn mower was up and running!

"She thinks my tractor's sexy..It really turns her on...She's always starin' at me...While I'm chuggin' along...She likes the way it's pullin' while we're tillin' up the land...She's even kind of crazy 'bout my farmer's tan....She's the only one who really understands what gets me"
On Sunday we had Mikes Mom, Joe, Uncle Ken, my mom and dad and Bandit over for a barbecue. We had a great time hosting everyone. It was fun showing everyone our house.
