Vacation Part II: Northern Michigan

We are heading onto our final stop on our Vacation, Pittsburgh, PA to visit a good friend of mine. I will start this post off on a sad note, below is a picture of a causality of our trip.
"Meg, I think I hit a bird"... Megan says "I doubt it".... fast forward 1 hour later at a rest stop... 'Meg.... I need wipes I did hit a bird and he is stuck in the grill"
After leaving northern Michigan to head downstate to the Walberg family Reunion, we wanted to stop for lunch at a fun stop. Since Mike loves finding Diners Drive ins and Dive spots we decided to stop at Michigan Brewing Company for lunch since it was featured last year on the show. Much to our disappoint the brewery was closed (it was foreclosed on and auctioned off last week). As you can see Mike was rather upset... The rest of the pictures of from the week we spent in Northern, Michigan in Glen Arbor. A special place in the Garchow kids heart since we spent almost every summer up there growing up.
We took the boys to Settlers Park to ride on the swings.
Mikey loves destroying the sandcastles

and having his feet buried

Grilled Salmon (Mikes Catch)
My dad took  "the boys" fishing on Lake Michigan. We got to enjoy Salmon and Trout compliments of the boys hard work.

Thank you the my parents for renting the lake house. We had so much fun and it was great seeing everyone (even if I did get bit by mosquito's)! We are looking forward to the next Garchow family vacation, place TBD.

Was so good seeing everyone - the boys loved Mikey! They are still talking about him and Weston. You two are doing an amazing job raising him!!!
