For those of you who have not heard, Jackie and I are home safe. We arrived Monday night at 5pm at the Bahamas to hear at 7pm they were charting private planes to get us out of the Bahamas by Tuesday night due to hurricane Irene. While we were bummed to have to leave we were thankful Jackies company spared no expense to get us out of there, which is good news because last we heard the airport was closed until Saturday night. We enjoyed the beach on Tuesday and the Atlantis resort was absolutely gorgeous and I hope I get a chance to go back again someday!

On a sadder note, I arrived home to a very sick little boy. He has had a 105 fever the doctors say its some sort of virus. We are thankful that I had off work already so I am able to stay home to nurse this little boy back to health!
