Atlanta Trip

This past weekend, we ventured to Atlanta for my moms 50th birthday! It was extra fun because she didn’t know we were coming. We think she was surprised….she said she was at least, but can you ever really pull a surprise on your mom? Saturday started off early (I mean very early…3am) to go to the airport for Mikeys very first airplane trip. Not a huge surprise to us, he was such a champ.. didn’t even cry. Even people came up to use after the flight to let us know how well he did. Us kids surprised my mom with a party full of neighbors, food, family and drinks Saturday night! It was a fun way to celebrate her 50th with all her kids and grandkids present.
After a relaxing and fun trip we headed home on Wednesday. Much to our dismay our little man was quite sick when we returned, 2 ear infections and bronchitis! I am happy to report the antibiotics are finally starting to work and Mikey is back to his normal laid back self. Thank goodness…did I mention how thankful I am Mikey normally sleeps through the night? With him being so sick we can defiantly have lost our fair share of sleep and we sure do miss it.
