We survived

Mikey before heading to daycare, his face says it all!

We survived the first day! I went back to work and Mikey went to daycare. It was very difficult to leave him. I was very sad and even shed some tears. Mike was nice enough to offer to go with me so that it would be easier to leave Mikey. Easy it was not but it was nice to have the company. After dropping Mikey off I went back to work. I even walked into the office with a smile on my face. It didnt hurt that my co-workers decorated my cube for my return. I got a great report from the daycare ladies and when I was leaving one little girl said "is Mikey coming back tomorrow to play", I responded yes he will be back! Overall the day was a success, Mikey seemed to like daycare, I only cried a little, Mikey didnt cry when I left and it was nice to go back to work and feel missed but the best part was when I walked into daycare he had a huge smile on his face when he saw me!
