We had a great weekend visiting Mike’s sister Ashley and her boyfriend Jared in New York City this weekend. We arrived Saturday morning and went to the Pig N’ Whistle for a delicious brunch which included free Bloody Mary’s! We then went to Grand Central Station and Chelsea Market. Chelsea market is one of my favorites places to just wander around. While we were there, there was a Scotch, Champagne, rum and wine tasting which the guys partook while Ashley and I sat next to a crazy lady on a bench. For dinner we went to a great pizza place. Following dinner we went to a bar down on Blecker Street where we made our mark in New York City by getting the top score on Photo Hunt! We then went to see a great Live band at the Back Fence. The band played Sublime, Tom Petty and many of our other favorites! On Sunday we went and got the bagels voted New York’s Best Bagel from Ess-a-bagel. Although the line was quite long it was well worth the wait. We then walked up to see the Rockefeller Tree. It was stunning and definitely put us all in the Christmas Spirit. We ended our New York trip at the One and One bar where we watched the Eagles put a whopping on Falcons. It was a great trip and we are already talking about the next time we can go. A big thanks to Ashley and Jared for the wonderful weekend!
